I grew up in Texas learning to listen in the silence: to read a room, to hear what people mean beneath what they say. Long before any boardroom, that was home.

Then sixteen years in commercial real estate, small firm to global firm, broker to executive leadership. Burnout taught me what no title could: leadership isn't just business. It's energy, purpose, and humanity. So I stepped out of the corporate lane to build a way of leading that bridges business and being. The rooms where we work were always meant to be human.

A Moment of Celebration

Shared humanity.

In recognition of her parents, who are both deaf, Saadia invited a ballroom of executives to try something new. An introduction to a different kind of applause: in Deaf culture, celebration is shown by waving your hands in the air.

The entire room participated, hands in the air. Something new and fun that everyone could be part of. For a moment, hundreds of people were not an audience. They were one room, celebrating together.
